We recommend...

Here we will have a great selection of local cafes, kids clubs, entertainers and all sorts of other things related to children and dads. If we liked it, if they stood out for some reason, or if we want to say look at this, you'll find them in here.

Arts & crafts for little people.

Little dinosaurs run arts & crafts workshops for children under 8 and their adults.

These are usually held at St James' church barn in Biddenham, but occasionally they venture out with a pop up workshop. It's great fun, it can get messy and it's a perfect opportunity to let the kids be their creative selves.

Toby's Tall Tales Two.jpg

Toby's Tall Tales is a story group for young children led by trained actor and teacher Toby.

As a family, we really enjoyed this. Toby was great with the kids, getting them involved with creating stories and characters. He was really enthusiast and bubbly, kept the kids attention really well and urged them to take part.

Drama coaching 1-2-1 or small group options.
Theatre Company & Events

Standing in the wings offer drama and audition coaching, confidence, speech and presentation skills training as well as holiday drama clubs for young people. They also have their own, fabulous theatre company together with equipment and technical services hire.

I personally know them and know they hard working, friendly, great fun and only want the best for the kids.

They are a county over, in Northants, but if you need something in Beds just pick up the phone and have a chat with them. I know they'll do everything they can to help you.

Friendly Nettle Cafe.jpg

This is where it all began for The Nomad Dads. We were previously known as Papas & Preschoolers and we used to meet here every 4 weeks. We decided it would benefit more dads if we went out to them, so we left our home of about a year and went on the road.

We have a lot to thank Friendly Nettle for, so of course we want to shout about them. They have a big children's area, a projector and screen, a great selection of coffees and smoothies and some very tasty food.

When you pop in, try the maple sea salt latte, it's delicious!

Little science lab.jpg

If your child loves anything science, they will love Little Science Lab. A fully hands on experience where everything is supplied, including the lab coat and goggles. You might find Owl pellets, fire tiles or even dry ice at your next event, and you'll definitely find a fun, enthusiastic scientist at the helm called Kristina!

little city mk.png

Little City is for those kids who love a bit of role play. LC come to a hall near you, set up a whole miniature world with backgrounds, props, outfits and even vehicles. There's all sorts to choose from too, your little one could be a fireman, a builder and even a patisserie owner all in the same day!

Emily Bateman is a very talented local photographer. With a great skill behind the lens, a love of all things family and an eye for a beautiful scene.

Friendly, great with the kids, and comes with a personal recommendation from us after the shoot we had with her.
