3rd January
You for Coffee at The Arc, 7 Howard St, Bedford MK40 3HS
It's time to get arty! You for Coffee is attached to The Arc, which is a fantastic art shop, fun space, 'emporium of loveliness'. If you've ever walked past, you will have no doubt been drawn to look through their window at all the lovely things, bright colours and quirky goings on they have to offer. Also, we've been to the cafe before, it's also lovely with a great selection of cakes as well as good coffee.
31st January
Queens Park Family Hub, ​Marlborough Rd, Bedford MK40 4LE
​This year we'll be working alongside the family hubs to be more accessible to more dads. This is our first visit to one of their hubs. We'll also be joined by Helen from the Beds Borough Family Hubs to share some more information about what they are all about and what they can do for our dads.

This one is very exciting for us. Not only do we have Pickle & Pea Play bringing us their amazing creative imagination play, but we also have a rep from the Bedford Borough Parent Carer Forum telling us all they know about the SEND services available in Bedford we also have a rep from The Man Cave UK sharing with us what they do, what they can do for the men of Bedford and where we can find them.

​Central family hub, 30 Allhallows, Bedford MK40 1LN​
We'll be visiting another family hub, but that's not all, this time we'll be joined by Standing in the Wings​ for a fun drama workshop. Last year it was Shakespeare, Saint George and dads being knighted, who knows what they'll bring this year.

23rd May
A great venue, yet again part of the family hubs group, with some great indoor but also an amazing garden area which is going to come in very useful for our visit from Little Science Lab. We love science and Kristina at Little Science Lab really brings it alive. Kristina visited us last year and the kids (and the dads) were mesmerised! We are very excited to see what she will bring with her this time round. Free tickets will be available soon.

20th June
​Bedford Park - Daddy bears picnic
​Grab your blanket, a football or Frisbee, and come and join us down the park. There's a cafe on site for anyone wanting to treat themselves to a coffee or the kids to a fruit shoot, otherwise bring your sandwiches, scotch eggs or whatever it is you fancy and we'll see you there.

12th September
​Another visit to another family hub and another special guest. We'll be joined by Mini First Aid Bedfordshire ​for a class on basic first aid for the age 3-6 group. This will be limited but we will have space to play for the siblings and the dads. Free tickets will be available soon.

This is what we had last year, we'd love to do it again this year!
We've gone big here. STORYBOOK FESTIVAL is here! Coffee and breakfast from The Kiln. Our headline act is Toby's Tall Tales! Toby will bring his unique story telling style, involving the kids in character creation and storytelling. Bedfordshire Health Radio will be hosting a children's disco. Bright Emotions CIC will host an emotional literacy story and matching craft session. Mrs B's Book Club will be asking your children about their favourite books, so bring them along. Emi's Bookshelf with have the most up to date Usborne books for sale. And finally Bedford Borough Parent Carer Forum shall be on hand with information and helpful advice on all things SEND. The best part is all tickets are free! But you do need to book, so head HERE to do so.
21st November
More info to come when we confirm a venue, but this is a chance for us dads to get together, blow off a little steam, have a few drinks and enjoy a little well earned freedom.
5th December
​We'll be spending our last meet up of the year with a very special guest, so I hope you all make it onto his nice list. Free tickets will be available soon.
